| Go to the gym whenever is most convenient to you.
As for eating, I like a meal about an hour before the gym, then a large whey and dextrose shake immediately post-workout. I eat a proper meal again about an hour or two later.
Some people like lifting on an empty stomach, and others like to stuff their face before lifting, and continue eating during lifting. I'm somewhere inbetween the two personally. You have to find out what works best for you.
It's ALWAYS a good idea to have good nutrition after working out though. |
