I wonder if this has anything to do with my guitar playing. I started to learn classical guitar at the age of seven. I would play all day every-day and achieved grade 8 (the highest you can go) by the age of about 13. When playing guitar as a right handed person you constantly have to support your raised left arm with its corrosponding pectoral muscle. Perhaps as I went through puberty this lead to more muscle fibres develpoing on that side?[quote]
Almost certainly no. Your guitar playing would have had no impact on the number of fibres as that is pre-determined at birth.
I am wondering if it isn't the result of injury?
Worst comes to the worst, cosmetic surgery could fix this possibly so all won't be lost if training the pec doesn't help.
Good Luck
