Almonds probably are the best nut in my opinion.
Macadamia nuts are the highest in fats.
Peanuts are probably the cheapest but highest in food allergies.

Almonds first, then maybe wallnuts.

But peanuts are half fat and the other half is protein and carbs with just a little more protein than carbs.

So with that said, nuts should be to up your dietary fats and not protein.
Much better sources of protein are eggs, meat, fish, chicken, shakes (my least fav).
