| As I understand it, the knee goes through a "V" shaped cartalige channel in the leg... In most people the cartaliage is slightly rough, which in itself isn't a problem.
Until you are using the joint regularly and/or doing impact stuff. The cartaliage swells up from the abraisions, then rubs throughout the day.
If you find that it gets too much then have a hot bath, use a heat lamp, try hot + cold therapy, and reast it to let the swelling go down. omega-3 will help but over a long period.
Basically don't push the injury too much because it's one of those things that gets worse if agrovated. From the sound of it though you've not got to that stage (and hopefully wiht the omega-s won't).
