I am not having a go with you Jimmy but maltodextrine is a huge insulin spiker.
It all depends how you are getting the 2500 calories also. I can set up a diet with 2500 calories and you wouldn't be able to eat all the food.
Also if you were having the majority of the calories toward bed time you could gain also.
