Re: Newbie confused about supplements - help...

Thanks for the prompt responses all.

Looks like I should be losing the weight before gaining. Problem is I've been doing that for twelve months. Started at 14st 4lbs, now at a plateau at 12st 10lbs. Aged 40 and running that much I've injured my feet. Don't have a bad diet but am changing from 3 to 6 meals.

Problem I have is hunger cravings. Though I'm disciplined I struggle to keep portion sizes down even though eating well (turkey, chicken etc)
This has lead me to protein powders etc. I suspect if I increase protein it should stabilise my blood sugars and prevent hunger pangs?

Taken everybodies advice onboard regarding supplements too early but I think there is mileage in the protein to stop hunger. If so, can anyone advise a better product than promax at a better price (that tastes good)

Was wondering about a fat burner like xenadrine EFX but not sure? Wondered if the increase in metabolism may end my plateau!

Any help appreciated.

Cheers - tomlini
