Like LS said, it's an individual thing. I was just stating my opinion to be fair.
Some, in fact most of the strongest squatters in Britain/world squat ass to grass.
I've trained with Dai (Porky Pie) who is one of the country's most respectable lifters and he certainly doesn't go parellel. Ass to grass for him and the guys squatting 340kg plus.
