definately eat protein before bed its the best time to eat,
if you eat fat within 4 hours before you sleep the amount of fat is multiplid by 2, i believe this is the same with protein and carbs, because your body is totally at rest it gets the full use out of the protein fat and carbs
i always take a protein shake last thing before i go to bed
