| Re: Help I don't know much about losing weight, but I would say don't rely too much on the what the scales say. when you noticed you were overweight then I imagine it was from how you see yourself in the mirror, ie: size and shape. With regular training muscle will become stronger which weighs more than fat, so I wouldn't think that scales would be a totaly accurate guide to base your progress on.
Other members on here (with a lot more knowledge than myself) have advised that the mirror is a better guide than the scales.
