About mindsets, if i see someone who is athletically built like say a triathlete ill think damn they're toned, if i see someone of your physique i think damn hes built like a brick sh*thouse. I dont then compare in my head who has done the most work in the gym. Am I missing your point?
People I know (excluding myself of course) dont 'get' bodybuilders such as yourself - im in no way putting you down - im just saying i dont know anyone who has worked as extensively on themselves as you and others here have, so they dont understand the work you've put in. Its far easier, and common i suspect, to see and athletic build and say wow they've obviously worked hard at what they do and their body shows the results - whereas if you see a huge bodybuilder you might think something like, scary/steroids and meathead in the same sentance. I myself know thats not the case, my girlfriend however freaked out the first time she found out i drank protein shakes haha.
Ive probably said too much but just trying to air an opinion on 'mindsets'. Possibly this is why bodybuilders dont class themselves as toned.
