| Size and Strength At the moment i train for strength and do 4 x 6. Each week i try to either increase the weight being lifted or the number of reps. So each week im lifting heavier.
Im just wondering, if i started training for muscle hypertrophy, as in 3 x 12 or 4 x 10 etc, would i lose my strength ?
For example i can deadlift 95kg 4 x 6. bench 54.5kg 4 x 6. If i did muscle hypertrophy for 3 monthes etc, would these lifts go down ?
If i did 6 months muscle hypertrophy and then started strength training, over time would i lose size gained during muscle hypertrophy training ?
It sounds like im babbling on but i just want to know the relations inbetween strength training and muscle hypertrophy. |
