Consider what happens when muscles hypertrophy. Tesosterone and androgens bind to androgen receptors (these are nuclear receptors found in the nucleus of muscle fibres) causing nucleus proliferation. The new nuclei stimulation of satellite cells to bring new contractile apparatus making the muscle bigger. So, considering a bigger muscle has more nuclei and therefore more receptors for test then more gear can be used in bigger muscles.

I'm of the opinion however, that something like a gram of gear will still easily saturate these receptors in even the most hypertrophied of muscles (and remember the number will down regulate with prolonged gear use)

So what I was arguing against was the use of mega doses like 2g a week and the use of body weight as an excuse for this.

But yes I agree that AAS dose, or rather the amount of a dose that can be used by the body, is dependent on body weight.

Hmm I will have to check but I always thought that your receptor sites up-regulated when you introduced steriods.
