The uk is a good standard of competition as well, its not like our amateur shows are tiddly winks, they have a v high standard...just goes to show how good those 2 are though. |
I have no doubt in my mind, whatsoever, that given the right chance to peak, James L and Darren B would give both of the US guys a nightmare.
Standards move on and on all the time in bodybuilding and both James and Darren have the genes and mindset to keep pace with all advancements.
In the meantime, us mere mortals can feed off the condition photos when prepping for shows - not much point feeding off mass when it's not so attainable for the average man but condition, well, given the right knowledge and applying it correctly, I truly believe just about anyone can get into wicked shape - if the mind is strong enough, that is.
Hence my little condition photo wall with Kevin Levrone, Paul Booth, Eduardo Correa, John Hodgson, James Llewellin, Fivos and a few others on it - motivation not to deviate from the diet plan. I have no illusion of being able to weigh much more than half of what they weigh, but the challenge is to get as near to the condition as possible.
