| Re: Shoulder Press... I suppose it also depends on how wide grip you take. I take a fairly wide grip as im tall but I still keep my forearms vertical. I go down to about chin or mouth level. Never to my chest as I think that extra 6" say brings your triceps into it and have tried doing this before on the smiths machine to my chest and I think it can cause injury. I also suppose that if you dont go right to the bottom your shoulders will always be under constant tension.
