| Really tired, training advice please?? Hi,
I've been training for years on and off, i usually train this routine-
Monday- Chest and Tri's
Wednesday- Shoulders and Legs
Friday-Back and Bi's
I'm 12.5 stone and coming up to being 30 years old, i'm cut and have now built up to 55kg flat press which i feel is pretty good for someone my weight, that is my max press however i can do 8 reps with no problems on 50kg dumbells, i'm completely natural all i take is whey protein and creatine suppliments. . . oh and a zinc tablet a day. i dont drink or smoke either.
The reason i'm posting is that because of the intense training, i'm constantly really tired and its effecting my day to day functioning, although i'm lifting heavy weights i would like to put some more size on but i'm thinking i'm overtraining and not recovering properly.
I was wondering would it be ok to train twice a week??? something like-
Monday- Chest/ Tri's / Legs
Friday - Shoulders/ Back / Bi's
Still really heavy sets.
Would this work ok? Or have any of you got any other suggestions? I need to do something because at the moment i seem to wake up more tired than i was when i went to bed and feel like ****, i struggle to keep focused trying to fit everything in, work, girlfriend, friends, karate, gym, and the list goes on i dont seem to have enough hours in the day!!
Do some people just need more recovery time ??
Any advice would be great.
