| Shoulder Press... Where do you guys take your shoulder presses down to? Collar bone or just below chin?
I tend to take take mine down to collar bone for lighter sets and just below chin for heavier sets using the Smith machine, especially if I haven't got a spot...
Used to go down to about eye level, lol, cos the lad I trained with told Me to, and put loads of weight on... now im left with bad elbows and weak shoulders!
I do Arnold Presses aswell to make sure I get proper reps, as I find this exercise good, without hurting my elbows too much.
Any other compound exercises I should be doing as I don't tend to get sore shoulders the next day, and they are very weak, which I think is affecting my bench press and incline bench. |
