Right side efects wise, when you read about things like gyno, male pattern baldness ect.. they do happen and its possible. It depends on the individuals pre-dispostion to the side efects, the amount there takeing and the lenght of time to exposure. Also things like (but not restricted to), diet, natural hormonal cycles, stress) can alter your chances of suffering these side efects.
Some people can take grams and grams of gear and not get side efects, others just look at a dbol and get gyno. Its not fair to say that the risks are overstated.
Its important for people to know the potential risks before embarking on anything.
For example assuming me and yourself are playing russian roulette, theres a potential risk of one of us blowing his brains out. however I spin the barrell and pull the triger and assming the safety is off *click nothing. do i then turn round to the crowd of people screaming "THIS IS BS, THERES NO DANGER OF GETTING MY BRAINS PAINTED ALL OVER THE DESK!".. no I count myself lucky and hope your get the loaded chamber.
lets look at the odds,
Assuming that your useing a six shooter and that we dont spin the chamber ever time we play, its
16.6R% (6/100) chance of me getting my brains plastered over the table..
after that theres only 5 posible chambers that the bullet can be in so the odds are worse for the second player - thats why you always if you have the chance in a game of this nature with no reset always always ask to play first.
the second player now has a 20% chance (5/100) of blowing his brains out...
third round odds are getting worse and worse... 25% chance (4/100) of blowing his brains out..
forth round (player two probably bricking it at this stage as a whopping 33.3%r (3/100)chance of blowing his brains out...
By this point player one is curseing the second players nodding jesus...
5th round player 1 has a 50% chance (2/100) of haveing a closed coffin funeral.. however even at this late stage hes still in the best postion assuming he survives the round...
6th round player 2 has a 100% chance of (1/100) of makeing a mess on the desk...
