You can run 6g/1iu of slin but thats very touch and go i found. I tend to err on the side of caution and go for 10g/1iu. Theres always going to be some random wastage with digestion so build in a little head room (thus the 10g as oposed to 6g).
You never did list what you actualy took to require the glucose drink in the first place, what drugs were you running bud? rember the drink you would need for 2iu is diffrent to the guy shooting 20iu...
example,
joe bicep boy shoots 4iu of slin, he figures he needs...
10g x 4 = 40g of glucose.. + then any other **** you want to add.
But but at this low dose, weird things seem to affect the uptake of the glucose into the body its not a clear cut thing, stuff you ate before - stress and other factors can reduce the efectivness of the drink. so even though you think your cool you might still get sympotoms even at this low dose of slin.
however his friend bob mc powerlifter is useing 20iu of slin, he would need somthing more substantial to avoid a trip to the ER.
10g x 20 = 200g of glucose (probably more at that level actualy as its gets difficult to absorb that much glucose in one shot..)
now probably your fall somewhere inbetween that but you see what i meen.
One thing you dont want to do is be relying on complex energy sources in the recovery drink - it takes to long to break down into a form that the body can use so protien is a tricky source of energy to plug for. The only guy i heard of that used protien to recover from slin shots is dead, but to be fare he was huge.
You should use a complex carb source for the meal after your drink, that way you have a steady release of carbs for a few hours after your meal as well as the imediate hit from the glucose drink. |
