I know your post is tongue-in-cheek .. although I do agree with you. It is a sad fact that in todays society what it is to be truly 'male' is under constant scrutiny and gradually being erased.

From schools that encourage sports without keeping score (therefore removing the element of 'competition' because that would be bad.. ) to the physical reality that sperm counts decreasing year on year.. There are many many examples of declining masculinity.

It's an issue I feel strongly about.. men should embrace all that is masculine and make no apologies for their competitive wants, needs and desires. In fact, I run another forum dedicated to this very topic.

That said..

I do not believe that a desire to use a range of male grooming products in any way reduces the degree of heterosexuality within an individual.

It is simply another level of self-improvement - another avenue through which men can give themselves a competitive edge over their rival male counter-parts.
