lower chest
ab area
then lower back/ass/thighs
he just isnt ripped enough and can do

so he has no muscle? the only thing you should lose when dieting is fat and water
if he is shirnking he either:
doesnt have much muscle
going catabolic
feeling/looking flat
what is the point of being 'big' if you are holding fat?
Or he maybe in fasting mode pushing hibernation with a metabolsim as dead as a dodo
