Unfortunately Customs can do nothing about companies outside the EU, just try to stop the goods getting in - ever more difficult when the Government has decimated Customs, and in fact just hived most of it off to the Home Office (and we all know how good THEY are....

)
The laws are EU laws and individual countries can't do a lot about them. It's the same the other way though - I can post anything I like to the US or Australia, but there's no guarantee it will get there.
