Then it arrives, turns out that each serving is 100g, so its only 30% protein!!
The main ingredient is maltodextrin! I dont know much about maltodextrin, but from what ive heard its basically an additive.
If I use this mass gainer, 2 scoops with water before bed, will I gain muscle, but without gaining fat?
The brand is CNP Professional, and its called Pro-Mass |
I've used Pro Mass in the past - found it to be pretty good but as said there is a lot of sugar in it. This is why I'd only really take it once per day as my PWO meal during a bulk. I'd also use a 100% whey as a pre workout meal as well.
So as an answer to your question, No you haven't wasted your money CNP are a good brand but I'd restrict its use and get a simple whey shake as well.
22lbs is quite a lot of lean muscle and no one suppliment will give you this. So make sure that your diet, training and recovery are all in check and it'll come. I'm assuming you are new to training so the main thing is consistency. If you eat right and train right the muscle will follow.
