well, me and the missus felt totally safe with our two young daughters.
the resort we were on was mainly germans, but a mix of romanians and russians also were there as well as brits. Sure, if you go to places like sofia, varna or other big towns you have to be a bit careful but generally the problem is the gypsies. Like any foreign country that depends on tourists, the police stamp on things that cause problems. The police are all armed, and the biggest problem they have is drink driving.....
