barbell/ez for biceps

ive read a few times that the ez curl bar is a bunch of pants as apparently it makes curling 'ez'

i know this aint true

but what i wanna know is what exactly is the difference in curling with a BB and an EZ bar

is it just less strain on the wrist? is there a difference in muscles that are targeted

starting tomoz im getting into my new workout and diet is being pushed more, so little query's like this i would like 'ironed out' as they say

cheers guys, Dai
