In my opinion, nothing beats free weights for chest, seriously. But, having said that, you can build quality mass with machines. It's an ongoing debate!
But, if you like machines, use them. Load up a hard weight and try to get 8-10 reps with it for 3 sets. Use the chest press, try and find an incline press, and also possibly a pec deck/flye machine of some sort. Add those to your pressups and you should grow.
