Hi, having not ran for about 18months due to illness i decided now was the time. I think i may have thrown myself into it a bit quick tho. After my third 3 miler of the week i awoke the next morning with sever sweeling and bruising and swelling all over the knee joint. After this had subsided the pain was concentrated on the inside of the kneee about an inch off-center both knees. Been to the docs and got the take it easy usual advice. Has anybody else had this, is this common or am i destined to be a crippled forest gump wanna be if ever try that again? Any exercises for knee strength? Cheers
