Personally I have no issue with turning on the usernames in the rep system so you can see who said what.
My concern is that, if that was done now, are we are going to suddenly have a flaming vendetta accross the forums as people who left negative comments believing them to be private suddenly find themselves open to abuse.
We'll post a poll on it after Easter to give everyone a chance to vote anonymously.
In 99% of cases neg reps are left by people who 'carry' so little rep power anyway that it's not worth worrying about.
Case in point, the guy who PM'd me just now - you have been repped
59 times in March so far.. the total positive rep points accumulated from that is
2136 .. JUST IN MARCH! .. and as for the one person who neg repped you... well, you lost a massive -2 points.
