I'd rest from cardio, squats, deads or any direct leg work & train your upper body for now. You can still train back, just leave deads for now.
Have you tried any anti-inflam's? If not, I'd be inclined to get some down ya'. It might also be worth paying a visit to your GP so they can physically/manually check your knee by performing some simple physiotherapy tests.
