White bread is the worst, wholemeal is the best but still not for me whilst dieting. I have found that by simply changing from eating bread at lunch to cutting it out I have got leaner. Conversely when i had sandwiches daily I started to put the fat back on again.
I don't think that toasting it will make a difference in terms of its nutrients. |
Toasting does make it taste better though
