I was in Belgium at the time working for a very wealthy organisation so they paid for everything. Had a fantastic physio - ex professional footballer. I had a 30 min session 3 times per week w/ultrasound to break down any scar tissue which was forming. The NHS really is light years behind.

Well, thats great that you got such good treatment.. Yes the NHS is really far behind.. especially the PCT's here in Cornwall!!!
