It's a graft of your hamstring to make up a new anterior cruciate ligament. It's a typical football injury :(.

I was in Belgium at the time working for a very wealthy organisation so they paid for everything. Had a fantastic physio - ex professional footballer. I had a 30 min session 3 times per week w/ultrasound to break down any scar tissue which was forming. The NHS really is light years behind.
