Sod your GP and go private - you'll only need a few sessions, but its very important to get it started.

You'll need to get the flexibility back and stregthen your quads to help support your knee. Fish oils and glucosamine sulphate are good supps to help.
Hi invisblekid!!
Yeah I had some of my meniscus removed too!!! After the op, I was given a sheet of specific exercises to do to get me walking and after that nothing!!!! Don't get me wrong, exercising my quads and hams seems to be strengthening the structures at the back of the knee, but it still feels pretty weak, and I've obviously been overcompensating for it cos now the other one hurts lots, particularly after running! But yeah, definitely gonna get some physio I think, don't wanna end up totally broken! And the fish oils & glucosamine do help, been taking them since nw yr!

p.s whats an ACL reconstruction??!
