Hey, I'm just new to this, think it was possibly you who left a link on boots website?!
Anyway... my bro had a pretty big bit of cartilidge removed from his knee 2 years ago, and recovered really quickly. He had physio straight after the op tho. If I were you I would def head to the physio just to get it checked out, they'll be able to spot any problems and give you specific exercises to strengthen the are.
