2 short planks

Hi There

I am fairly new to the world of heavy weights (8 months hard training 3 times per week) and totally new to this forum.

I have been lucky enough not to pick up any injuries in the gym but now have an injury that is seriously affecting my training.

I was moving a load of planks of wood at work by throwing them up on my shoulder to carry them and seem to have hammered an injury into the high bit of bone on the top of my shoulder. I feel mild pain from it if I press onto the bone (more of a deep ach really). The problem is if I do any sort of shoulder press the pain soon becomes quite intense and forces me to stop. Also when I try to bench press I get a sudden very sharp pain in my shoulder and nearly drop the bar on myself. I was hopeing it would just go away but it has gradually got worse over about 4 weeks. I can now hardly move my arm after any pressing exercises, although it fades to a dull ache after a couple of days. If anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
