Leg Press

Every time I go heavy with leg press I get this sharp stabbing pain at the very bottom of my back on the left hand side. It is at the boney bit at the top of my glute.

As I continue the leg press it feels like a burning sort of pain and is bloody uncomfortable to say the least. It's not painfull enough to make me stop but I guess most people who don't work out would probably stop.

Anyway, I've had this for probably 3 years now and I even stopped doing leg press for nearly 12 months. As soon as I started again with leg press it comes back.

Anyone heard of or experienced anything similar ?

I've booked an appointment at the quack's this time so I'll see what he's got to say.

I guess not doing leg press at all is an option but I'd rather get it sorted if I can. I cannot feel it at all doing squats or any other leg work.
