Sometimes when i'm trying to move up (ie dumbells) there's a 2kg or 2.5kg rise so it's not always possible, best way i find is to add another rep sometimes. In this instance i'd do 4 sets of 6, currently i alternate between low rep and higher rep sessions as i find i can jump the weight up easier with having the extended gap.
