Herniated disc ( pics inside )

I did this back in Sep 2006 doing barbell rows, I stopped and started again over the months and years but it's no good

At the moment I'm following a muscle balace program from the US and it's helping slowly, I can tell.

Basically I think this happened because of weak right glute and a really tight inner right thigh, my whole chain is tight as well, definitely my hams - their really tight. I probably lifted to heavy as well in the main and the last few reps were really poor. So lots of thing really

As bad as this MRI is I'm not really in that much pain, just a cold numb ache feeling down my right leg which just won't go. If I move my hips and like flex my lower back I can feel the bottom of the spine pop and grind - no pain from this, just doesn't feel good

Definitely can't lift any weights, I know it won't help me, I just train abbs, work the right glute, strech and use my Inversion table

I know might be impossible to anwser, but when I'll healed should I ever do deads and squats again

I know a guy on here Andy_Mac said deads and squats should be done for the rehabilitation for lower back problems, but should they always be done?

Has anyone else had a disc problem this bad and trained hard again?

Paul
