The reason i ask is surely a varied workout is better than just restricting to the same few bulk building exercises?
As i said before, not all the time, just now and again.
No he's just saying kickbacks as an exercise he doesn't like - and for kinesiology reasons I agree.

However I do know a number of competing BB'ers who use them effectively to bring out the striations on the triceps. The again they don't go nuts and use too much weight.

Its an exercise you love or hate - but for most people I would say to bin them, and stick with an abreviated compound routine. Then again I wouldn't use them should I do a pre-exhaust routine. But thats just me and what do I know.
