My Rottie was different, he would not mind other dogs until it got too boisterous then he'd flip, and again he didn't like anyone coming in the house.
I totally believe in keeping dogs in the house as a member of family and cannot understand why some people buy dogs to keep them either chained up or in a run in the back garden. Just pointless imo |
True mate, I know that akita's can be very temperamental, but its around the kids that obviosuly you've got to have sorted, I think obviously some get jealous whern a new arrival comes onto the scene their place in the pack feels threatened, you sound very clued up though Rob on stuff like that.
I agree too, ppl just get dogs around here to use as trophy's, my mates dog has a fukin matt to lay on in the kitchen, no basket, a fvckin matt!

and even the matt aint his according to my mate, it goes ballistic when someone shows it some effection, oh yeah, and it licks its lips around kids, hows that for a well trained dog? My mates a tit, all he ever brings up is the time mine and his fvckin thing went for each other....like some proud moment....pathetic...suffice to say, we don't take ours round there now.
