Re: staffordshire bull terrier

Akita's are extremely territorial and will simply go for any dog that gets within range. They are also very choosy with people and mine will not tolerate strangers in the house period. However he is fantastic with the kids and really is an exceptional dog. But I know he cannot be trusted near another dog as he will simply go for it.
My Rottie was different, he would not mind other dogs until it got too boisterous then he'd flip, and again he didn't like anyone coming in the house.
I totally believe in keeping dogs in the house as a member of family and cannot understand why some people buy dogs to keep them either chained up or in a run in the back garden. Just pointless imo
