Avoid training - I know its easier said than done, but you've got to recover otherwise you'll be stuck with this forever.
Sounds like the physio is right to me. Essentially, you've got an imbalance and your RT cuff isn't holding the shoulder in place. You might have big delts, but that doesn't mean your should joint is strong.
Did the physio give you the nod to lift again? How long was the treatment he prescribed - and how long did you follow it for? Be honest. |
He didnt prescribe any particular length of treatrment. I did the rehab work for around three weeks. The pain slightly subsided but was straight back after some light indirect weight training! You may be right in saying I should give it more time. Hopefully I will get an MRI done soon to rule any other possibilities out! The problem is the pain is not local, It will differ from neck, upper back, upper left chest and bicep. Sometimes feels like heart burn!
