What is a safe amount of tuna to eat

I have been reading on tuna containing a lot of mercury, saying that half a tin contains 60% mercury and the story goes on to say that an athelete developed brain rot. I eat about 7-10 tins per week but now considering swapping tuna out.
Anyone comments on what you think about/consume tuna ?
