I usually do cardio everyday.

go on a slow jog twice / three times a week for 45-50 mins (outside the gym).

Don't go too low on carbs.

When in the gym do a 3 - 4K row (just go at a sensible pace) followed by 20 - 30 mins weights twice a week.
