Just noticed this post. The bump on my wrist actually went away a few weeks later and has never come back since.
If you're talking about the pilonidal cyst I had two separate surgeries. The first one they left the in incision open and sticthed my ass cheeks together. No packing just 24" wick that I had to pull out myself. They did all that to keep let it slowly heal from the inside out.
The second one was much neater and they stitched the incision rather than my ass.
