The only AAS that really does seem to help some is Nandrolone, either Deca or NPP, it does nothing for me, joint wise, (great gains though), I think it also depends on what is causing your pain.

Mine was all tendon related, both biceps tendons, and my left knee tendon, all from Grappling at various times, I did not let them heal properly, so they become fairly permanent.

I used the powder, but it is very fine and tastes very nasty, so I'd go with the ready capped ones myself.

There has been a bit written on this site before about it, by myself and Hackskii who both found it to be of great benefit.
