everyone can benefit from a break. Your body needs it. not realy a great idea to train 4 days a week, every week of the year in a continous cycle. What Paulo was sying is that if your concerned about using machines over free weights for 3 weeks then why not just take a week of and let your body recouperate. The dedicated average gym goer will be all the better for it.
