| Re: tendonitis in elbow and wrist slamdog,,,,
i have searched the net and it seems that all agree not to take use cortisone injections....helps for a short time then causes lasting damage to the joint.....my chiropractor says that the tendon tissue is swollen and damaged from over use while it is already injured....as the body trys to heal itself, repairs begin to take place but the repairs are formed in a kind of random criss cross pattern and adhears to surrounding tissue...this is not good.....tendon tissue has to be straight in nature running in the direction of the muscle....therefore when you use it again you begin to tear the tissue which has adheared to the surrounding area....causing more pain and swelling... each week my dr. has to break loose this tissue and allow only the straight tendon tissue to remain..... takes a long time, but it seems to be working....
i dont know if my explaination makes any sense!!!! but there it is...
