Re: Walking Lunges etc.

There are a few unilateral exercises you can do like leg extentions, leg curls, step ups, lunges just using one foot, 1 legged squats to parrallel using 1 hand on a wall or pole etc and 1 hand holding a dumbell.

As for the leg press, as i said, dont go mad, less weights more reps to recruit all the 'deep' fibres. Just REALLY concentrate on form, yes it could be easy to twist a knee but iv never had a problem.

Just my opinion, as with most things in this game - there is no right or wrong answer, its all theories!
