I say this with respect, the fact that you are still training at 58 is testament to the benefits of training correctly. Sadly, I doubt a lot of guys will still be at it past 40 if they train badly and get injured. I see so many guys with massive potential get left by the wayside due to getting caught up in the ego bench machismo & then suffering a big tear.
These polls are ok for a giggle, but are really just a way of showing off, but not in an alpha male way, this is just a 'lads being lads' thing. Some guys on here are indeed freakishly strong & I can respect that, but I prefer strict form every time & if it means using less weight, so be it. |
