yeh it IS ridiculous. playing GTA never made me go out n bop a prostitute in my car whilst pulled over in a park...?!?!?!?

altho...having said that there is always evidence such as Bandura et al...and the bo-bo doll. But it's probably only going to influence you to actually go out into the real world and act-out what you've seen on the screen if you already have some psychological disorder which makes you predisposed to doing something like that...in which case you probably would've gone out and done it at some point anyway.

PS i love the knee-jerk reaction over video games. Iv read some horrific stuff in books thats far nastier than things iv seen in a video game...and no1 seems to ever accuse literature of causing people to go out and be deviant...well not since the marquis de sade anyway
